The Marlin Presbyterian Church has gifted many of their furnishings to the museum's St. Matthews church, after closing their doors in the fall of 2013. The gifts included an altar, baptismal, and guest book stand built by Ray Gilbertson, Odessa's former mayor, and a selection of beautiful curved oak pews which are believed to have been originally used in a church in Ruff.

The museum's dresser raffle concluded Deutschesfest weekend, the winner being Lori Lesser of Spokane. The dresser was originally sold from Odessa Furniture Store and spent many years in use at Odessa's Palace Hotel.
